This unique region has preserved all the ancestral Murcia’s flavor and characteristic lush orchard gardens, surrounded by the Segura river, which flows gently among impossible peaks, creating impressive gorges lulling their course through the villages of Abarán, Archena, Blanca, Cieza, Ojós, Ricote, Villanueva del Río Segura and Ulea, composing timeless landscapes, aromatized by the orange and lemon blossom from their antique orchards.

The plantation in Valle de Ricote is dedicated to CITRICULTURE, or citrus cultivation, a set of agronomic techniques aimed at the production of native plant species, as well as the adaptation of new varieties, mainly of the genus Citrus.
In addition, among the citrus plantations, we show to you an endless number of trees of different varieties of fruit, such as peaches, apricots, loquats, quinces, avocados and pomegranates, among others, that we use for our consumption and that we offer to our guests.

Itinerary
We will pick you up from the location in Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa, you have chosen during the registration process around 9 am.
We drive to the Ricote Valley citrus farm and have a 2 hours guided tour. After the tour we drive to several sightseeings in a beautiful Ricote Valley nature and also have a lunch/picnic (included on the price) at 1 pm. We will arrive to Orihuela Costa/Torrevieja latest at 5 pm.
